Indexing Extant Labour frames certain experiential conditions of migrant labour within highly unequal Indian cities. The work brings together materiality in image making, by  very minimal authorial intervention; attempting to bring indexical nature of material to as an affect or encounter of the lived experience. The body as a site of endurance has been visualised on the frame through the deliberate usage of coarse materials used for building construction.
